Heading into the gym now and then for working out on the punching bag may not be possible for some people. So, if you want to have a punching bag ready at your home then you will need a rigid, strong, and most importantly, a reliable bag stand to hang it.
Everlast is famous for its quality products and the heavy bag stand is no different. If you are having trouble assembling the stand, then this is the perfect guide for you. Our illustrative and detailed steps are all you will need to set up your Everlast heavy bag stand and start punching.
How to Assemble Everlast Heavy Bag Stand?

1. Select an Assembly Spot
Everlast recommends a place with a dimension of 4ft. x 6ft. 7ft. 3inches. That’s because the equipment is tall and wide. When you work with your punching bag hanging from that stand, you need some room for yourself. So, select a place that is not narrow. Keep the height factor in mind too.

2. Precautions
Throughout the assembly process, you will need to tighten a lot of nuts and bolts. You should tighten them by hand and assemble the parts into the stand. Only after completion, use a wrench. And be sure to not exceed the maximum bag weight of 100lbs.
3. Secure All the Parts
Take everything out of the box. If the box was sealed when you received it, then everything should be inside it. All types of screws, bolts, washers, etc. that you will require during the assembly should be present in the box. If you find the box pre-opened, contact your retailer.

4. Setup the Base
Place the left and right base tube on the floor and position them in a U shape. The center base tube will be joined with the other base tubes. At the end of the 3 tubes, insert the weight peg. Secure the pegs in the hole with 3 M10*20mm Allen Bolts.
There are 4 holes on the center base tube. Align the first two holes of the center base tube with the 4 cross facing holes from the left and the right base tube. Use 2 M10*100mm Allen Bolts alongside M10 washers and the M10 Nylon nuts to get a tuning fork-shaped structure on the floor. Tighten them with your hands.
5. Constructing the Bag Tube | The Base
Aligning the upright tube to the remaining two holes of the center base tube, fix it in that spot with the 2 M10*100mm Allen Bolts, 4 M10 washers, and 2 M10 Nylon nuts. Now, at the top end of the heavy bag tube, insert the given M10 Eye Bolt with a normal nut on its side, and a washer with a nylon nut on the opposite side.
6. Constructing the Bag Tube | The Supports
Insert the heavy bag tube into the upright tube aligning the first pair of holes with the only pair of holes of the upright tube. The other pair of holes in the heavy bag tube should be still visible, above the hole of the upright tube.

Align the foot of the left and the right support tubes to the holes near the middle of the left and the right base tubes. The foot should fit perfectly over the base tubes. Align the top part of the support tubes to the holes at the junction of the upright tube and the heavy bag tube.
Put in 2 M10*100mm Allen Bolts and 4 M10 washers alongside 2 M10 Nylon Nuts through the holes at the feet of both the left and the right support tubes. For the junction, use 2 M10*100mm bolts, 2 M10*95mm Allen Bolts, 8 M10 washers, and 4 M10 Nylon Nuts. Tighten everything by hand.
7. Securing the Joints
Now that you have the whole structure properly assembled and standing upright, take a wrench, and tighten everything from top to bottom. If you had tightened the nuts and bolts with a wrench earlier, then it would have been difficult for you to make any changes or correct any mistakes.
Conclusion
The assembly process is fairly easy. If you can’t identify any parts, refer to the instruction manual which has diagrams of the parts that may help you. We recommend not exceeding the bag weight when using the stand.
